Palácio Nacional da Ajuda

Lioz was selected for the new wing of the Ajuda National Palace in Lisbon. It was applied to the north façade, the floors of the arcades on the west façade, and the panelling of the doorways and windows of the Crown Museum. The marble was carefully worked to integrate harmoniously with historical elements such as arches, friezes, and mouldings, preserving the Palace’s original character. This project stands out for its blend of tradition and innovation, honoring the architectural heritage of one of Portugal’s most emblematic monuments.
